It was sad to hear that the Indigo flight passengers from Goa to Delhi had to deal with so much mental trauma for four hours because a couple of passengers on board started threatening the crew and the flight had to landed abruptly and nobody was let out before thorough questioning from the NSG. It is to be noted that such occurrences also happen on other flights. The crew are bothered by drunk and impolite passengers. Air India has even demanded for all flights to be equipped with restraining devices such as handcuffs to subdue the unruly passengers. The hyderabad engineer Prashant Irene was arrested by Sahar police in Mumbai for allegedly molesting an air hostess. Though he was released on bail, his relatives said that he requires psychiatric help as he was “abusing” them also. It seems that he could not cope up with the demands of the discipline in the society.
